Technical Description
The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble "Green Apple" arrives in an official Black / Photo Blue / Action Green / Anthracite / White / Iron Grey colorway — nicknamed "Green Apple" for the candy-bright pop that defines its character. The upper follows Sergio Lozano's original 1995 anatomy-inspired design language: dark Anthracite leather on the lower panels graduates upward through lighter grey shades before transitioning to a white mesh zone, mimicking the layered structure of muscle and rib. Action Green hits the hiking-style lace loops, laces, and tongue branding, while Photo Blue pairs with it on the tongue label and within the heel Air unit for a blue raspberry finish to the candy concept. The defining upgrade underfoot is the Big Bubble treatment — Nike's reengineered heel Air bag restored to its original 1995 dimensions, which had been downsized in subsequent years due to structural concerns. The result is the most visually faithful AM95 construction since the original, now applied to a colorway that never existed in that form.
Storytelling
The "Green Apple" Air Max 95 has only ever released once before — in 2010, exclusively at JD Sports, making it one of the harder-to-find AM95 colorways of that era. Over fifteen years later, it returns with the one upgrade it never had: the Big Bubble. The original 2010 pair predated Nike's decision to restore the enlarged Air unit, so the 2026 version is in some ways more complete than what collectors originally chased.
